Business Line reported that TATA Power Solar, a 100% subsidiary of TATA Power, has commissioned two 1 KW solar photovoltaic plants to power the porta cabin center of Residents Welfare Associations across New Delhi.
The company in a statement said that "These porta cabin center constitute the first set in a series of 12 1 kW solar PV plants that are being constructed under the My Delhi, I Care initiative."
It said that TATA Power Solar has generated more than 1.60 MW of energy from solar sources in New Delhi.
