UK's manufacturer and supplier of self-adhesive and other specialty packaging products Tenza Technologies is offering pre-formed Stand Up Pouches as part of its growing product portfolio.
Tenza Technologies technical sales manager Glenn Proctor said the company is leading in developing new applications for consumer-friendly form of packaging, according to packagingeurope.com.
"With our ability to offer small minimum order quantities and low origination costs, we are able to give creative retailers more flexibility and new ways to display their products in order to maximise on-shelf impact," Proctor said.
The Pouches are claimed to be printed in up to 10 colors, plus a varnish if required.
Unlike the traditional types of packaging, such as tins, jars, bottles and cans, due to their thin profile and high ratio of surface area to volume, Stand Up Pouches offer Packaging Volume Reduction (PVR), as well as significant cost reductions.
