Ukrainian Journal recently reported that the administration of ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih steel mill in Dnipropetrovsk region, has filed a claim in court to demand that the information contained in an open letter to the mill's trade union organization be recognized as misleading and damaging to the company's business reputation and to ask the defendant to issue a retraction.
The report said “In this connection, the enterprise's top management uses legal mechanisms to safeguard the company's business reputation. On December 12, 2012 the company filed a claim at Kryvy Rih's Dzerzhinsky district court, demanding that the information presented in the open letter of the primary organization of ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih's trade union be recognized as misleading and damaging the company's business reputation.”
