UK-based Contego Packaging has finalized sale proceedings of its food and beverage Cartons business to Graphic Packaging Holding Company.
According to the company, the acquisition, which received approval from the Office of Fair Trading (OFT), was completed on 24 December 2012.
The food and beverage cartons business in the UK, the Netherlands and Ireland are at the group's Leeds, Gillingham, Hoogerheide and Portlaoise locations.
Graphic Packaging with a turnover of $4bn is into the design and manufacturing of packaging with a particular focus on food and beverage packaging.
